Pay For Performance
Not for Legal Services
FAIR SEVERANCE PAY : VALUE & PERFORMANCE
With our service we get paid only after you get paid. Our administration fee is a fraction of a retainer fee from a lawyer. Based on the outcome of the settlement our fee is based on a small percentage of anything awarded to you above any initial offering from your employer. Regardless of the hours we invest, we charge a fixed percentage of any amount awarded above the initial offering. There is no risk of you ending up with a large bill at the end without a settlement. Our Service Agreement details this further.
ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS TO CONSIDER
You may choose to go through legal counsel, however, keep in mind this means you are suing your employer. You are giving them an ultimatum to pay up or else. This puts them on the defense and shuts down your opportunities to negotiate in real time and reach a prompt and fair settlement.

When you hire a lawyer they are acting on your behalf. You do not have access or input into what they choose to do. They may convey things in a way that you don’t agree with or provide information that is inaccurate or flawed. Read more under You Won’t Need a Lawyer. Lawyer’s fees are based on the time and activity and billed at a rate on average rate of $400 per hour. The simplest of settlements may take up to a year. This is not going to help you with your current bills and also extends the stress and anxiety you are already experiencing in this circumstance. For the services of a lawyer, expect to pay between $2,500 to $3,500 in legal fees regardless of the outcome. Also expect to invest $1,000 – $1,500 up front as a retainer for them to take your case.
